About Jill Cabai

Jill Cabai is a longtime Hendry County resident and attorney with nearly two decades of courtroom experience. She has built her career serving the people of her community with a steady commitment to fairness, professionalism, and respect for the rule of law.

Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Central Florida, along with a minor in Environmental Studies. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, where she also completed certificates in Land Use and Environmental Law. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007.

She began her legal career in Orange County as a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit before returning home to Southwest Florida to serve as an Assistant State Attorney in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. For more than eight years, Jill represented the people of Hendry County, managing a high-volume felony caseload and trying numerous cases, including felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile matters. Her courtroom experience includes DUIs, domestic violence, theft offenses, narcotics crimes, serious violent felonies, and cases within the Special Victims docket. This work strengthened her ability to evaluate evidence carefully, apply the law fairly, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.

In private practice, Jill has continued serving individuals and families in Hendry County, focusing on criminal defense and family law. Her work is grounded in preparation, professionalism, and treating every person with respect. She is a current member and former Vice President of the Hendry/Glades County Bar Association.

Jill’s commitment to her community extends beyond the courtroom. She serves on the Board of the Greater LaBelle Chamber of Commerce, supporting local businesses and economic opportunity. She previously served on the board of the Caloosa Humane Society and has volunteered with the Firehouse Community Theater,  LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corp. (LDRC), and local youth sports programs.

Jill has lived her entire adult life in Hendry County, where she has raised her family and built her career. Her approach to the law is guided by fairness, integrity, and a genuine respect for the people she serves.
